On Monday, August 24th 15000 S. (starting at 2200 W) heading west to 2700 W will be pulverized. Work will also be done on 2700 W to Vista Hills Drive.
Crews will be grading this area to prepare for new asphalt. Residents need to be careful not to allow excess water to flow into the roadway. Water can affect the stability for paving.
There will be an increase in construction equipment and personnel including flagging operations. There will be one lane closures during the pulverizing, grading, and paving operations.
The paving is scheduled to the first week of September. Traffic lanes will be closed during paving. Expect long delays. When the asphalt has cooled enough, traffic can be shifted without damaging the new road.
Please plan trips accordingly to avoid these areas of work. More information will follow regarding the paving in September.
