Utah fireworks laws have changed this year, allowing the purchase of legal fireworks from June 24 – July 25, 2020. Fireworks can only be discharged two days prior and one day after the holiday (July 4 and July 24).
Fireworks may only be discharged from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm with the hours extended to midnight on the 4th and the 24th.
We encourage our community to be extra vigilant this year while launching fireworks by following the firework safety tips below. Please be cautious if the winds are blowing or there are fields nearby as the fallout from aerial fireworks can start a fire a few hundred feet away from the location where they were launched.
Our fire crews will be out and about throughout each evening of the 4th and 24th holiday weekends to visit about fire and firework safety, please wave and encourage them to stop.
Have a safe holiday weekend, remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and thank you for being part of our community.
Fireworks can also be used December 30-January 2.
