[ARCHIVED] Firework Guidelines

Firework-Safety

Utah fireworks laws have changed this year, allowing the purchase of legal fireworks from June 24 – July 25, 2020. Fireworks can only be discharged two days prior and one day after the holiday (July 4 and July 24).

Fireworks may only be discharged from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm with the hours extended to midnight on the 4th and the 24th.

In addition to the rules above, and due to the extremely dry conditions this year, Bluffdale City is issuing the following firework guidelines within our city limits.

We recommend no aerial fireworks anywhere within the city limits except at the following locations between 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm:

  • Independence Park located at 15245 S Noell Nelson Drive
  • Bluffdale City Main Park located at 2400 W 14400 S

•    Fireworks that do not leave the ground (fountains, candles, flowers, etc.) should be used with caution.

If no other emergency calls come in to pull them away, there will be firefighters at both parks on the 4th and 24th with gifts for the kids and to help with safety.
