Considering Governor Herbert’s recommendations of March 12, 2020, which are part of the Governors efforts to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, and the Executive Order regarding electronic meetings by public bodies the Governor issued March 18, 2020, the City of Bluffdale will conduct all public meetings electronically.

Interested parties may visit www.bluffdale.com for the details regarding streaming of the meetings. Instructions on how to view the meeting will be posted here on 5.5.2020.

To Make Comment During Public Hearings

Written comments must be submitted prior to the public meeting or any time until the Public Comments item on the meeting agenda is completed. All comments must be under 4 minutes (if spoken) or 600 words (if written).

Comments must include full name, address and must reference the agenda item in the subject line. Comments will be read into the meeting by a Bluffdale employee for consideration by the Council or Commission.

For those who want to make a live comment during the meeting, please contact Natalie Hall at nhall@bluffdale.com for more information and to get the meeting ID number.

Participants that wish to make public comment through video conferencing, must have their video on and working to speak. Your ability to connect on video conferencing is dependent in several factors, including technological issues. To ensure your comment is taken regardless of technology issues, please submit your comment in writing as mentioned above.

In the event an electronic meeting is disrupted in any way that the City, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate including, without limitation, posting of offensive pictures or statements, the City reserves the right to immediately remove the individual from the meeting and, if needed, end the electronic meeting with or without a motion and vote. If a meeting ends prior to all items being addressed, all items not addressed at the meeting will be moved to the next regularly scheduled meeting or a special meeting, whichever is first.
